Mr. Brody Warren

Senior Legal Officer, Attorney-General’s Department, Australia

Mr. Warren is Senior Legal Officer in the Private International and Commercial Law Section of the Attorney-General’s Department, which acts as Australia’s National Organ to the HCCH and Central Authority under the HCCH 1965 Service and 1970 Evidence Conventions. Before joining the Department, Mr. Warren was with the Permanent Bureau of the HCCH, servings as Attaché to the Secretary General and Senior Legal Officer from 2020 to 2022, with concurrent responsibility for the HCCH 1961 Apostille Convention, as well as a Legal Officer in the Transnational Litigation and Apostille Division between 2014 and 2020. Prior to 2014, Mr. Warren worked for legal publisher LexisNexis in the Press Gallery of the Australian Federal Parliament. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Political Science/Spanish) from the Australian National University and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales (Australia).
