The HCCH Asia Pacific Week Manila 2022 conference will be held from 18 to 20 October in Manila at the Makati Diamond Residences, Makati City, Metro Manila.

 

It is organized by the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, the Supreme Court of the Philippines, the University of the Philippines College of Law, the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), and the Philippines Embassy in The Hague, the Netherlands.

The Philippines, as host, shall provide accommodations and port courtesies to foreign speakers and regional experts.

There is no fee for participating in the Conference. Those interested may register in the registration portal on our website’s homepage.

Asia Pacific Week Manila 2022 is open to the public. However, preference is extended to attendees from government agencies and competent authorities implementing the HCCH Conventions. Legal professionals and those with a working knowledge or are currently involved in the work of the HCCH are also welcome to register and participate.

Slots are limited so we highly encourage delegates to attend all sessions across all three days, including the official receptions, in order to maximize the opportunity to interact with fellow delegates, learn from our international experts, and connect with other organizations that are represented in the Conference. Therefore, the registration of delegates who would be able to attend all sessions in person would be prioritized.

Yes. According to the Philippine Judicial Academy, the HCCH Asia Pacific Week Manila 2022 is an MCLE-accredited event. Attendance would allow the delegate to earn credit units in the subject of International Law and International Conventions.

Makati Diamond Residences will guarantee free parking for up to 10% of the conference attendees or up to 25 slots per day, on a first come, first serve basis. Delegates and guests are also encouraged to explore alternatives in nearby establishments.

Checking in at the official venue is not mandatory. However, the Secretariat highly recommends that delegates stay for convenience in view of whole day programs including reception dinners organized by the hosts.
